I thought it might be nice for you all to know who you are buying from, So it all started about 30+ years ago when Linda Kingsman decided to try her hand at pine furniture. She originally started of stripping old furniture and making pine cheval mirrors and distributing to some of the biggest names in the business at the time with the likes of pine cabin and coachhouse.
Linda then went into manufacturing full time when Newark was classed as the "Pine capital" of the world. She ran a team of tradesmen that produced high quality handmade furniture for a number of trade accounts. Linda had always had her sights on a retail space and when a derelict church in the centre of her hometown came on the market she knew she had found the perfect place. Nothing Linda ever did was simple, she set about reviving this historic building into what you see today. Linda's son Rob joined the business at the age of 21 after serving in the Army and became an important part in the success of the business. Fast forward a fair few years to when sadly Linda aged 59 lost her short battle with cancer and past away in February 2014. Rob and Laura decided that they wanted to continue with the business, keeping the foundations of what people had always loved about the company as well as bringing a new lease of life to it with introducing new ranges and ideas. Today at Kingsman Interiors we still hold the same values as all those years ago, we want to offer quality furniture, from a local family business where customer service is our number one aim.
